Remaining one meter aloof parcel 856, we marked fragments of the border with chalk-spray directly to the ground. We stoppt this one hour berfore the event at the Opera began. To those visi- tors who were entering the Semperoper trespassing the one line fragment we where positioned we turned over a c-print speaking „MIND THE GAP“.

HOME RUN 201 3 Diplomausstellung Oktogon, HfBK Dresden Installation EISBEIN/ENGELN polycarbonate comb material, synthetic material, wood, varnish 1 700 x 535 x 460 cm HOME RUN - is an installation of three larger than life size sculp- tures which are almost similar in form. They are assembled in a triangular shape, two laying, one hanging on a rope. A round skin-like corpus is constructed out of various polygons, seeming to be pierced by a wooden framework, appearing as one half of a boat. The material of the corpus is either polycarbonate combs covered with white liner or wood primed and polished in black. The ‚boat‘- part is primed black. The whole assemble describes a calm anchor whereas one of the lying sculptures can be associated with a cof n. The hanging sculpture seems to defy gravity despite its dimensions and transforms into a chrysalis here. The second laying sculpture is a skeletonlike boat fragment.

Reich der Freiheit II 201 2 KlangKunstHoĚˆfe, BaĚˆrwalde site speci c installation Eisbein/Engeln/Liemann permalight adhesive foil, wood, c-pro le, arti cial light 200 X 800 X 1 050 cm Reich der Freiheit II - Upon entering the exhibition room, only phosphorescent bars are visible which seem to retrace the oor plan of the room. These are attached to base material below the ceiling as well as along the oor. The stripes below the ceiling represent the actual oor plan of the room, whereas the stripes on the oor are irregularly thrown in. The spatial awareness of the visitors is being vexed. After ve minutes a timer activates oodlights that show the actual room for two minutes.
