MEET THE CHARACTERS OF McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS

If you missed the GPB April premiere of this acclaimed Australian series following life on the cattle ranch for sisters Claire and Tess McLeod, their all-female crew and neighboring ranchers, don’t despair. Catch up with our character guide and be sure to tune in Thursday night at 8 and 8:45 PM. Episodes encore at 10:30 and 11:15 PM.

Claire McLeod

Born and raised on Drovers Run, eldest sister Claire McLeod is an exceptional stockwoman who is well respected as its property manager. But she’s more adept at herding than hurting, as she faces matters of the heart with family and friends.

Tess Silverman McLeod

Youngest sister Tess returns to Drovers Run thinking the sale of her share will afford her dream of owning a coffee shop. But realizing the property is in debt, she makes it her home, and finds life brewing with new ideas and romance instead.

Meg Fountain

Drovers Run housekeeper Meg Fountain is known for her apricot chicken, but it’s a recipe of loyalty and a strong work ethic that helps her play the role of confidante to both sisters Tess and Claire.

Jodi Fountain

Meg Fountain’s teenage daughter dreams of being a personal stylist, complete with Hollywood fame. But the closest she’s come to giving a hot “new cut” is assisting with sheep shearing at Drovers Run.

Becky Howard

Drovers Run provides an escape from a difficult family life for Becky Howard. And despite her tarnished reputation, her true capabilities shine through her work, convincing Claire that she is a valuable member of the team.

Alex Ryan

Heir to Killarney, the neighboring property to Drovers Run, Alex Ryan is known around the rodeo circuit as a daredevil, but he often rides to the rescue in a helicopter if there’s trouble for the McLeods.

Nick Ryan

Nick Ryan has a head for business, adapting modern farming and breeding techniques at Killarney, the neighboring property to Drovers Run. But he also has a heart for competition, pitting him against his older brother Alex for the admiration of their father and the McLeod sisters.
