Share the Love Bnei Mitzvot who chose to celebrate their Simcha with Emunah’s Bar and Bat Mitzvah children in Israel
In honor of their Bnei Mitzvah, Annie and Elie Rubinson, from Westchester, NY, asked that all gifts be given to Bet Elazraki Children’s Home. The siblings visited the home and knew that this is a place they wanted to support. They recorded a CD and provided it to everyone who was a sponsor of their Bnei Mitzvah project so they could buy musical instruments for the children at the home. In honor of her Bat Mitzvah, Nikki Lewis (following in her brother Max’s footsteps) from NYC, connected with eight “sisters” at Bet Elazraki Children’s Home. She spent the day at Bet Elazraki and sponsored a carnival for the children with exciting rides and games.

To help celebrate their Bar Mitzvahs, two boys from Bergenfield, NJ, wanted to do something for boys in the Emunah homes celebrating their own Bar Mitzvah. Asher Rauzman and Jonah Gerson, who both attend Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, decided to raise funds to purchase tefillin for Emunah and organized a sports camp to raise the money. The one-day camp entertained 50 children and raised over $1,400, enough to buy two sets of tefillin for Emunah’s children.
Jessie Tuchman from East Brunswick, NJ, is a third generation Emunah supporter. She is the granddaughter of Renee Weiss a”h, past National President who passed away last year. She shared the Simcha of her Bat Mitzvah with the girls of Bat Mitzvah age at Bet Elazraki Children’s Home. Jessie donated a computer for the Recreation Room at the Home.
