DRAW A MONSTER Students follow the poem’s instructions to draw each character. BCBCBCBCBCBCBCBCCBCBCBCBCBCB

When you draw a monster, it is said You must begin with a funny-shaped head. He’ll be able to see in the night skies If we draw him three googly eyes Our monster will have a big, ugly nose With green boogers coming out like a hose He needs a mouth so he can eat All the children’s smelly feet Now up the top and underneath This monster needs lots of sharp teeth Just below we need to check That we don’t forget to draw his neck Our monster is big and his belly is too So let’s draw his large body blue To make him look a little scary He needs some arms that are hairy Some legs are needed to make him move Choose how many to make him groove. To help him walk down the street He will need some big, stinky feet Now it’s time to make your monster unique Add something scary that will make everyone shriek!

DRAW A WITCH Students follow the poem’s instructions to draw each character. BCBCBCBCBCBCBCBCCBCBCBCBCBCB

When drawing a witch, it is said Always start with an oval shaped head. On her face she needs to see So draw two eyes that are small and beady. Now she needs a mouth that is evil looking So, draw pursed lips like when you have to eat Dad’s cooking! This wicked witch is looking scary Draw a big, hook nose with a wart that is hairy. On her head you need to draw Scraggly hair that looks like straw. Once you have drawn her hair, on top of that You need to add a pointed black hat. Now that her head is nicely in place Colour some green all over her face. For drawing her body, down below Draw a long black dress going down to her toe. Just underneath her dress to the floor Draw two pointy boots that only a witch would adore. In her green hands, she holds a broom Draw it now so she can fly out of this room!

DAY OF THE DEAD ART BCBCBCBCBCBCBCBCCBCBCBCBCBCB Start by cutting out a skull shape on blank paper or paper plates.

Next draw two large eyes with black around the outside then draw a black nose hole in the middle. Around the darkened eyes students should draw colourful semi-circles all of the way around. Add in black lines for the mouth.

Now get creative and decorate the skull with patterns, swirls, dots, lines and pictures.
