fall-2011 Aim of the project was designing a space that is experienced with senses. The space was designed based on how we respond mentally what we sensed in KemeraltÄą, historical bazaar district in Izmir. What generally experienced in KemeraltÄą is confusion such as, voice of tradesmen and visitors at different age, variety in color of products, smells of foods. Sense of confusion was tried to create by playing with density of shadows and volume of space, in the project.

Artists House fall-2011
The project was studied in Asansรถr district in Izmir and aimed to design habitation for creative couple for sculptor and dancer. Units were designed according to their needs and work environment. Sunlight was used efficiently to create qualified working areas for the couple. Main point was transforming the house to art exhibition rather than creating concrete box for living.

Wall-Plate spring-2012
The project that was studied on imaginary site which was between two buildings and designed as an architectural office. Project consists of 2 steps, designing with load-bearing and plate system. In first part, spaces were created by using the idea of pochĂŠ. In second part, they were designed by using plate system. Beam-less slab is structural advantage obtained by cantilever and the system explores the relationship of structure and spatial form.

Concrete Arch Bridge spring-2012
Aim of the project is designing arch bridge by analyzing the load and finding best form. Outcome of the project is flat structures exposure much forces so required thicker material but at deeper structures exposure less forces so required thinner material.

Glass Art School spring-2012
Project was designed in Urla, Izmir. The users are masters and students but in real it is open to all for public use by its concept and physical condition. Site is located between two streets so main idea is creating circulation path between them and connecting with courtyard so that visitor can observe glass production process and contribute the events in the public space. Moreover it acts as a landmark in historical context.

T-House fall-2012
The project examines method of architectural place making by creating inference based on sections from past memories. Moreover spaces were arranged according to symbiotic relations of a host, guest and a group of visitors. In the project, spaces are qualified based on a photographer needs, host, and created outdoor room for guest and community garden to exhibit photos.

Retail Shop+Residence fall-2012
The project site is located Long Beach in Washington, USA. Aim is designing green office-house at seaside. It combines a small retail shop with shop owner’s residence. Additionally it promotes environmental conservation by living and working. To prevent exhaust fumes enter to inside, trees were used and roof was covered with gravel so that heat loss was prevented and also helped to collect rain water to irrigate garden.

Camera Obscura spring-2013
The project site is located in BayraklÄą. It is for the international workshop that was arranged by well-known photographers around the World. They come to BayraklÄą by Manned Cloud, which is utopic transport vehicle. The building links Agora, ferry station and Izban. Building consists of exhibition area, conference room, public library, resting for personnel of manned cloud and cafeteria. Building was integrated with historic building and used as exhibition space. Canopy is used with historic building to create shaded exhibition area and inspired by designing tectonic element of the structure of building.

Waffle Bench spring-2013
This furniture product was designed using Rhino and Grasshopper programs. After completing solid form in Rhino it was transferred to Grasshopper and all details were added such as turn into waffle structure. For the model 1,2 mm wooden pieces were cut by hand and painted.

Kadifekale Design Museum spring-2014
Kadifekale district where history is hidden under, is observation hill and an important part of silhouette of Izmir. It has remains of Byzantium, Rome, and Ottoman period. The most beautiful place of Izmir was exposed to squatting. However today municipality is achieving urban renewal. Pedestrian access to museum was planned through path that circulates Konak square, KemeraltÄą and Agora. Site is so steep so existing pedestrian circulation dinamizm on the site with has topographic challenge, formed a main pedestrian path idea. By intersecting the pedestrian path with courtyard, inclusion of local people to social integration was planned.

Erdiller House Restoration Project
fall-2016 Kula, where Erdiller house is located in, is an Ottoman town in Aegean Anatolia ,Turkey with houses dating from the late 18th Century to the present. Today because of economical reasons, people has started to immigrate to metropolitan. And the site is visited by limited number of tourists because of distance to major cities. The house was refunctioned as a library for public use due to authentic function (housing) can’t be sustained because of changing family structure and confort condition. Therefore , aims of the new function is revitalizing the town by bringing people of different ages and it brings local-oriented restotarion approch for the site.

Conservation Project
spring-2017 Çardak Khan (13th century) is located in Çardak district where 55 km east of Denizli city center.Until today, the structure has been used for different purposes and undergones repairs. Today, it is kept empty.The structure consits of a shelter and a courtyard which include a bath and a masjıd which are known. The project aims conserving the structure as found. So it was considered as exhibiting the structure itself. Minimal degree interventions were thought on the structure. And it was integrated with the city thanks to social activity (cycling).
