I would like to welcome each and every one of you to DS II. Yes! We finally made it! And while DS Blazes the trail for us, DS II is running closely behind. Why DS II? Glad you asked! In business you want to watch your market, for me I wanted to overtake it and cover the masses. For every Man, Woman, boy and girl, I knew we had something for everybody and we could successfully cover the market, not only that DS II mirrors the world we all live in, we don’t wear haute couture everyday, we are real people. So no matter what your size is, we have designers with you in mind, your flair for personal style, and its here so between both magazines you’ve got range baby! Just think of it, we have access to the finest Developers ever, and every Designer/Developer imaginable, will have something different, inventive, yet appealing to offer you, and so many more Developers are making headway all because of you. So keep an open mind, an open heart, and an open spirit to all that’s about to happen. We’re reaching for the stars! Moorrie CEO DS/DS II

Let’s Celebrate!! I will take it upon myself to continue the theme and celebrate the “F” word lol. Because I can. I delight in creativity and skill, ingenuity and constructive thinking, DS II is all that and more, here we are covering the masses, for every woman/man in this market we got you. While DS is more Vogue and Haute Couture, DS II mirrors everyday living and keeping it real from KDNY influences, Urban Chic, Personal Street Style, Hip-Hop and more because style and fashion is everywhere and it says a lot about you. I can remember how my Grammie could wear a hat on the side of her head, sporting gloves and a suit. Everywhere she went, and when Sunday came, She Brought It! Her selective style spoke of the times, her culture, her personal twist on her signature look, and we do it today, just in a different way. (A Jack McConnell still works for me, as it did in my Grammies day when she wore his hats – she introduced me to the best.) Personal style embodies who you are and where you plan to go, it gives us a clear and concise picture of you and your lifestyle. We have Designers/Developers from all walks of life ready to present their products and take us all to another level displaying their own interpretation of style and I just can’t wait to see this magazine explode. So if you like a little Dunk-A-Dunk in your jeans, I won’t hate, those are your jeans and you are bringing diversity to the table and application of what the world looks like. We are tall, short, small, large, narrow, wide, skinny, pleasingly plump, and Goth, Plain, Sexy, Sensual, Preppy, and some even down right Spooky and that’s ok. We are every woman/man. We are fearfully and wonderfully made and there are no mistakes, no mishaps, no hiccups, we have a purpose. And we are very much a part of the DS Family, don’t get it twisted! So embrace your diversity, box check your accomplishments, keep your goals in front of you, and block the negative voices out of your head and do what I’m doing. Celebrating the “F” Word. Because I can. ~wink~

Fashion Trends and Ideas for 2015 ~you’re really not sure how you feel about and item.If you try it on and don’t instantly say to yourself, “Yes. This is totally me. I love this,” then don’t get it. You probably have enough clothes in your closet that you feel lukewarm about already. Save your money for something that really excites you. ~it doesn’t go with anything you own. Don’t let yourself be hypnotized by a pretty display or a well-styled outfit. There’s a reason you don’t own anything lime green and ruffly yet. ~You can’t think of at least two ways to wear it. Two ways to wear it using clothes you already own, that is. The last thing you want is to buy a top believing that it will only look good with a certain kind of bottom that you don’t own and end up never finding. ~It requires special underwear you either don’t own or hate wearing. Are you really going to step into a G-string and tape your boobs up just so you can wear some dress? Really? Really!? Well here are 10 Ways to Be Comfortable and Still Look Totally Chic 1. DITCH: Your stiff winter coat. TRY INSTEAD: A cozy cape or poncho. Choose a solid color with minimal embellishment for maximum versatility, or embrace the ‘70s boho trend with stripes and fringe. 2. DITCH: Those itchy wool work pants and starchy collared shirts. TRY INSTEAD: Silky pajama-style pants and tops. Silk pajama pants and tops have been trending for a while and they’re not going away any time soon. Keep the look sophisticated with simple silhouettes, graphic, menswear-inspired prints and rich jewel tones. 3. DITCH: Your fitted work shirt. TRY INSTEAD: A plush, oversized white sweater. Of course, your big, plush sweater doesn’t have to be white, but there is just something so sophisticated about white — it makes anything, even a potentially sloppy-looking oversized top, feel elegant. 4. DITCH: That giant shoulder bag that’s slowly turning you into a hunchback. TRY INSTEAD: A grown-up backpack. Backpacks can be just as grown up and sophisticated as other bags and once you start carrying one you’ll never be able to go back to totes again. 5. DITCH: The skin-tight bandage dress. TRY INSTEAD: A free-flowing swing dress. The great thing about a big, loose dress like this is that you can layer like crazy underneath without it adding any bulk. Just keep your under-layers skin-tight to avoid lumps and bulges.

6. DITCH: Your high heeled “torture devices” going out shoes. TRY INSTEAD: Fancy evening flats. They are just as chic and sophisticated as high heels and, at this point, there is a flat equivalent for almost every high heel out there, so there’s really no reason to suffer the pain of high heels ever again. 7. DITCH: Gym-only workout pants. TRY INSTEAD: Sophisticated leggings you can wear anywhere. The trick is choosing workout leggings that don’t really look like workout leggings — no wild, attention-grabbing prints — just easy, neutral colors, and subtle, sophisticated details like sheer mesh panels and tonal striping. Further blur the lines between gym wear and streetwear by wearing them with longer tops and booties to keep the waist band and ankles of your leggings hidden. 8. DITCH: Contacts. TRY INSTEAD: Beautiful glasses that double as jewelry. The old saying that “boys don’t make passes at girls in glasses” is total BS. Glasses are cute and sexy and a great way to accessorize any look. Buy a few pairs and change them to suit your mood and your outfit. 9. DITCH: Restrictive skinny jeans. TRY INSTEAD: Loose and luxurious wide-leg pants. Contrary to polular belief, you do not have to be tall to pull off wide leg pants. You just need to choose a style that is highwaisted and then pair it with a cropped or tuck-in top to help make your legs look as long as possible. And don’t be afraid to have your wide leg pants taken in a little. For the most flattering fit, you want your pants to fit sung around your waist and over the tops of your hips and then drop straight down. 10. DITCH: That puny little knit scarf. TRY INSTEAD: A big, cozy blanket scarf. The more voluminous your scarf, the better it will look, and it’s just the thing should you feel the need to crawl under your desk for a quick office cat-nap. The fashion trends for 2015 are all over the place and include soft tones and vibrant colors. Find your chic style and wear it with pride. by TaurasBabyLove
