Growing Aged Care Locally
This year has seen growth in our aged care services at our Social Wellbeing Hub in Holloways Beach. In 2021, we welcomed a new team leader Caroline Collins who has brought with her experience and enthusiasm for local program development.
With a new team leader there have been some changes to groups, with the program offering different day activity options for clients and carers. Social Wellbeing Hub has also diversified its services to include overnight respite services at the same site.
Over the last 12 months there have been milestones celebrated, with Norma's 100th birthday to different days such as our gardening working bee and our Daffodil Day morning tea.
Again we would like to thanks our supporters. This year we have had the support of the Lions Club with our gardening day and a donation of our new overnight respite bed. We above all would like to thank our staff, families, carers and clients for a wonderful year.

Counselling in Focus
Counselling celebrates 40 years supporting families. Our counselling service started in 1981 and has established itself as a respected, accessible mental health support for not only families but young people, employees and community needing professional assistance.
During the last 12 months our counselling services have expanded to include professional supervision and introduction of couples counselling in (FOCCUS).

This has added to our existing children, family and individual counselling programs. We have also continued to offer Circle of Security parenting programs which has seen an increase of uptake over the last 6 months. The counselling team has also developed it's counselling options through the NDIS and develop referrals through programs such as Connect to Wellbeing.
The next 12 months are promising with further service options being developed and released in 2022.
