Musical Bumps The first session in a six week course of classes for pregnant women to enjoy gentle exercise, singing and informal chat. The sessions have an ‘active birth’ focus: participants sing to their bump and learn songs which will soothe the baby when it arrives. Krocodile Klub Krocodile Klub provides a friendly atmosphere where people with learning disabilities and their friends can make new friends, meet up with old ones, hear great music, dance, chill and perform on open mic. Fancy dress is welcome and there are spot prizes for great costumes. Presented by the Krocodile Krew in partnership with The Sage Gateshead’s Accessible Learning Programme. Under 5s Music-making Term-time sessions for children under 5 and their parents/carers. In small groups in our lovely children’s room, specialist musicians engage everyone in singing, movement and music-making. Sessions for 0-4s are every weekday at 9.45am and 11am, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays also at 1.30pm and fortnightly on Saturdays at 10am and 11.15am. Sessions for babies (under 12 months) run on Mondays and Thursdays at 1.30pm Tickets: £3 per person, second child half-price. Special deals for whole term bookings. The Greggs Children’s Room, 1pm

Planet Music consists of fun and inclusive music-making activities for 5 to 7 year olds and their families. In small groups, specialist musicians engage everyone in joyful and creative singing, movement and music. Activities learnt in sessions can easily be used at home. These sessions last an hour and a half, and run fortnightly during term time. Tickets: £4 per person
