INDUSTRIAL DESIGN BASICS OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
This course introduces you to the fundamentals of industrial design. In it, you will gain an awareness of the design process with an emphasis on design criteria. This will be followed by formulation of the design brief, development of creative concepts, user testing and quick model making. You will work on a design project through to completion of a full-scale model and a short design presentation. BASICS OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
This studio course introduces you to the design process as it applies to architecture and architectural space. Through idea generation, sketch models, proposal research and presentation and modeling techniques, you will interpret your ideas architecturally as you also explore the locational, contextual and structural aspects of architectural design. You will also work on a site-specific design project individually and in teams.
