Merry Christmas! ’Tis the season when families come together and celebrate the
birth of Jesus Christ, who came to Earth to spread His message of peace, loving thy neighbor, and eternal salvation. It is a moment to reflect and take a break from the daily toils of the world, focusing instead on what’s most important in a person’s life: family and friends. Christmas lunches, dinners, and even parties, are all moments to cherish those around you and thank God for all the blessings He has given you, starting with the blessing of life. The New York National Boat Show
The New York National Boat Show is entering its 101st year of bringing all the excitement and innovation of boating to the Northeastern United States. Right in time for the holiday season, boating enthusiasts flock to the show to see the latest the marine industry has to offer. This year it is hosted at the Jacob Javits Center, and runs from December 13 until the 21st. The events promises fun and exhibitions for the entire family to enjoy. Kids will love to see Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel performing on Wednesday (See a video of Twiggy Here), or meet and take pictures with Sponge Bob Square Pants on Saturday. Anglers can stop by one of Rich Johnson’s fishing seminars, while the kids enjoy splashing around in a mini-lake with paddleboats, or even meet Santa Claus! And, if you’re planning on buying holiday gifts for a boater, the Show is an excellent place to find good deals on boating accessories. Last but certainly not least, be sure to be present for New York State’s 400th Birthday!
