The hub of Sixth Form life at Emanuel is the Sixth Form Centre – a separate building on the school site consisting of a popular café, a modern and comfortable common room, group and silent study areas, offices, changing facilities and a terrace overlooking the school grounds. Sixth Form students can enjoy private study in one of these dedicated spaces or in the calm of the school library, which is situated at the heart of the main school building.
Our library is one of the biggest and best-stocked learning resource centres in London, with a stock of nearly 30,000 books, over 50 magazine subscriptions and an extensive range of comics and graphic novels. Older students particularly enjoy our extensive DVD library and the large range of online resources we subscribe to, including JSTOR, Newsbank, History Reference Centre and many others.
The library comprises various zones for different styles of study; the Marquand Room is reserved for silent study, with quiet conversation permitted in the senior library. An extensive archive is located on the mezzanine above, where students can seek inspiration from alumni.
As the library is open from 7.30am to 5.00pm, students are able to use the resources before and after school.

The experience our child had in transitioning to Emanuel was seamless.
