Ann Szetela Kelley ’64 regrets not being able to attend her 50th reunion this year, but expresses her gratitude for her Elms education. Sharon Sullivan Leary ’64 had a great time at her 50th reunion celebration this year. Karen Fitzgerald Loflin ’69 regrets that business kept her in South Carolina, but wishes she could have attended the reunion and reconnected with classmates. She is hopeful she’ll attend her 50th class reunion. Ann Di Maria-Haines ’74 feels thankful for the way God has blessed her family. Her daughter Annemarie was married in April to a wonderful man named Bryan. Her father, a Deacon in the Catholic Church, did not marry the two, but instead chose to walk her down the aisle. Annemarie’s twin, Peter was married three years ago to a lovely woman named Andrea. The twins, turned 30 in June, while the younger set of twins turned 25 in April. Christina Gentile Ratkiewicz ’90 was recently appointed director of the St. John the Baptist Nursery School in Ludlow. Darcie Palin ’02 and her spouse, Lauren Royce, announce the birth of their son Darren Joseph Royce, who was born on January 11, 2014 Olivia Morin Marko ’10 and her husband, Eric, became proud parents of their son, Joel Alexander Marko, who was born on November 13, 2013.

FACULTY NEWS Daniel Chelotti, M.F.A., assistant professor of English, was awarded tenure. John Gould, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders, was awarded tenure. Michael Smith ’03, interim reference librarian, has published an article titled “An Academic Library to Serve the Public” in the May/June issue of the journal Public Libraries. Debra Gomes ’84, MLIS, MSCIM, has published a photograph of the Alumnae Library’s rare book collection in the May/June issue of the journal Public Libraries.
