Going Green PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE ($1,000+)
Inspired by one of the key themes of Catholic social teaching – care for God’s creation – we made protecting the environment the annual topic for first year seminar classes and the Social Justice and the Liberal Arts series in 2008-2009. From educational programs and lectures to increased recycling efforts and energy conservation projects, the college community worked together to understand environmental issues and to implement methods that will make our existence more earth-friendly.
