Transfer Admission Our admission process is quick and simple. You can apply online at elmhurst.edu. Admission Requirements •T o be eligible for transfer admission to Elmhurst, you must be in good academic standing at your current institution. •E lmhurst gives preference to students with cumulative grade-point averages of 2.50 and above. Serious consideration also is given to applicants with grade-point averages between 2.00 and 2.49. These averages are based on a 4.00 scale. • I f you have fewer than 30 semester hours of transferable coursework, please note that your high school records will also be considered in the admission decision. To apply for transfer admission, please submit: • A completed application form • An official transcript from each college or university you’ve attended • A high school transcript (or the results of the GED test) • Your scores on the ACT or SAT If you’ve completed 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) of college credit or have been out of high school for more than three years, you don’t have to submit test scores. While test scores may not be required, certain scores may meet proficiencies. If you are a citizen of a country other than the United States, please submit the results of either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery in addition to the materials listed above.
