Morrow County Jr. Fair Book

Article VI ANY member OR advisor who cannot attend a meeting MUST CALL THE JUNIOR FAIR COORDINATOR BEFORE the meeting.

An excused absence is: Death in family Family/personal illness School activity in which you participate County, state or national award trips Or the discretion of the Coordinator If a member needs to be replaced, each organization will be responsible for their member. Any member who finds they will not be able to be at the fair, must give WRITTEN notice to the board by the June meeting. An additional member will be added to the board to help with summer activities and be an active member on the board. The new member will be eligible based on % of time on the board.

Two unexcused absences may constitute removal from the board.

Article VII Junior Fair Board Members MUST exhibit in the Junior Fair the current year of term.

Article VIII If a Junior Fair Board Member wishes to resign, a letter of resignation must be addressed to: Junior Fair Board PO Box 168 Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338 Article IX Proposed changes to the Constitution and rules governing the Junior Fair must be submitted in writing to the Junior Fair Coordinator no later than October 30th.

Article X The Executive Committee will be made up of: President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Assistant Secretary/Treasurer Historian Co Extension Educator Junior Fair Coordinator A MINIMUM of 5must be present to do business as Executive Committee.

Regular meetings require 51% of the whole board in attendance to vote on issues Article XI ANY Junior Fair Board member or Royalty (male OR female), may NOT be or have been married or be a parent.

Article XII Code of Conduct will be followed along with all rules in Junior and Senior Fair Books.

Article XIII Any Board member is not to use tobacco products even if of age. Use of alcohol is also prohibited. If any member is found doing this, member can be automatically removed from the Board.
