I have worked in Amazon for 8 years now and have had the opportunity to move to different countries to take up different positions in Human Resources (HR). Now I am the HR Manager supporting the Operations teams based in Luxembourg (Supply Chain and Transportation, Engineering and Infrastructure, Customer Service, Operations Finance, and Operations HR). Luxembourg is a fantastic country and one that now feels like home. It may be small but it is perfectly formed. Both office buildings are in great parts of the city, the Grund and Clausen, and only take a short 10 minutes walk along the peaceful river to get between them. There are great restaurants and bars that surround the offices, and the city center is really close by. There is so much to see and do in Luxembourg and it is really unspoiled – beautiful green landscape with plenty of forest trails to walk, large rivers to sail or swim, and vineyards to enjoy. And because it also has a large expat community, it really is a friendly city and easy to connect with others who are new to the country too.
