Ella Liu

Chutong (Ella) Liu was born in 1997 in Guangdong, China, and moved to the US in 2016. In 2021, she received her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Now is an MFA Design student at the University of Southern California. She works in digital drawing, painting, and photography. She has participated in a cookbook design, a package design, and an app artistic design. Her work captures the drama of pop culture icons and figures. Her work explores media influence, cultural conflict, and self-identity.
