A B O U T
M E
HELLO My name is Eliza Kocherga and I was born on the 10th of August 1997 in picturesque Crimean town named Alushta. While my youth I attended Alushta Junior’s Art School (from 2007 till 2012), where I studied fine arts, graphics and composition. In 2015 I entered the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture to study architecture of buildings and constructions. In 2021 I completed the full course of educational programme and obtained the Master’s Degree qualification. During my last two years at university, I combined my studies with practice and started to work as a concept architect in Ukrainian Trade Guild company, where I have been working till the wartime started in Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022.
About my personal interests: I’m fond of drawing and painting in different techniques, also I’m practicing at creating digital illustrations. Another hobby is photography and editing photos. I admire the power of visual arts and aesthetics and see myself developing any skills connected to those spheres.

Conceptual decision of the territory development into a residential location with private houses and townhouses. The site for the project is located between the town of Chornomorsk and the village of Molodezhnoye in the Odessa region. Conceptual design proposal of the inside courtyard (peristyle), which could be used as a recreation zone of offices or as a summertime lounge zone of café or restaurant. This project provides for maximum preservation of the appearance and structures of the historical building,

Multifunctional complex Eliza Kocherga, Olesya Feshchenko Steel Freedom сompetition project Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine 2020
The conceptual highlight of the project is a treadmill arranged on metal structures, which connects the sports and educational complex with the industrial zone, forming a closed circular trajectory. The idea of the treadmill is to create a "bridge" that starts on the operated roof of the projected object and combines the new complex with the old preserved heritage of the industrial era.

Administrative Catering
There are three functional zones in the space of the 1st floor: a sports zone and a public catering area, which are connected by a common reception and a hall, as well as an administrative part with a separate entrance. Also from the 1st floor through vertical communications there is access to other functional areas located on the floors above.

Sports and administrative functional areas are located on the second floor, as well as new functional areas such as a hotel and educational unit.

Starting from the 3rd floor and above, the main space of the building is occupied by the educational block and the residential part, which is represented by the hotel and dormitory.

On the 4th floor, in addition to the main functional areas, there are also console parts with a recreational area of the dormitory and with the technological part of the restaurant.

The 5th floor has access to an open terrace and to the hall of the panoramic restaurant, which is located in the cantilever part of the building, that is the main focus of the object solution.

Shopping and entertainment complex Diploma project (master degree) Kiev, Ukraine 2021
The site for the project of a shopping and entertainment complex is located in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, next to the metro station Vyrlytsia, along the Mykoly Bazhana highway. The total volume of the building is created from a combination of organic forms, presented in the shape of two ellipses on the ground floor, in the space between them a transit pedestrian promenade is located in the direction from the metro station Vyrlytsia to the waterfront with landscaping and recreation zones. In this area between the two volumes on the 1st floor there is a common catering area, which is filled with tenants such as cafes and restaurants with openair terraces. On the second floor, the volumes of different functional units of the mall flows and merges into a whole space, in the center of which is a coworking area with a through-atrium, which illuminates the promenade with a daylight and creates an unusual and attractive shape in the center of the whole complex.

14 "CRYSTAL Mall" Project: Type: Location: Year:
Shopping and entertainment complex Diploma project (bachelor degree) Kiev, Ukraine 2019
The shopping and entertainment complex "CRYSTAL Mall" is located in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, near the metro station Boryspilskа, which is situated on the Boryspilska highway. The volume of projected building outlines the area of master plan and repeats its shape, thus forming a triangular space surrounded with bypass roads. The facade has a tectonic movement of levels by "shifting" and overhanging the shape with each higher floor - to give the volume an expression and increase the rental area on higher floors. Architecturally, the most interesting is the entrance group - the semantic point of attraction, the "magnetism" of which is enhanced by several spectacular touches: deaf facades as they approach a solid glass volume in the form of crystal "open" and metrically move from metal panels to glazing. Glazing is not regular: rows of deaf panels alternate with transparent ones. The picture is completed by a glass "explosion" - a completely transparent central entrance, which faces refract the sun's rays like a real crystal.
