The gastronomic tour in Lisbon is big as well. Traditional restaurants get together with the modern ones. It also happens with the hotels. The Altis Hotel Network is an excelent option because it unites sofistication, inovation and hospitality, exclusive from the five stars. Offering a high quallity service, the Altis Hotels are available in several locations over the city, including Belém Neighborhood, from where Pedro Alvares Cabral set sail to discover Brazil, and where there is located the bridge identical to the San Francisco Bridge, in the USA, wich by the way is from the same designer. Another tip is to walk through the region and get to know the cities next to Lisbon. Cascais is one of them. Summer resort, it has gorgeous beaches surrounded by rocks, fortresses, mansions and luxourious hotels, besides restaurants by the sea and really cute stores. Cascais is just a few kilometers from Lisbon and it is possible to get there by train. Spring is a great season to visit the region, because the weather is extremely pleasent, with an average of 23 to 26 degrees Celsius, and the days are long... only arround 9 or 10 p.m. it starts to get dark. And if possible, try to visit Lisbon by the week of June 12th, when a great party, with colorful parades and a lot of music, happens on the city, paying homage to the patron saint, Saint Anthony. It’s worth it! And it’s worth to highlight that portuguese people are extremaly receptive with visitors, that will feel themselves at home.
