INTRO Titto’s autumn promises to be uber feminine. Did you expect something else? Do you like minimalist accessories? If you do, ‘New Neutral’ is your thing! Are you in for something more? Then ‘Retro Luxury’ ensures extravagant eye-catchers in a warm colour range from khaki to rust. South American influences are key in the ‘Bohemian Romance’ collection. Frills, feathers and graphic prints: you are spoiled for choice. ‘Black Beauty’ boldly plays with the contrast between black and white and just like last season, mix & match is the way to go. Surprising patterns, patchwork and refined beads combinations are some of this collection’s features. TITTO An elegant necklace with a trendy mix of semiprecious stones, earrings in matching colours, a silk patchwork scarf or shawl with fur detailing: the quintessential finishing touches for any fashionable outfit. And that’s what Titto creates, the Belgian fashion accessory company that has unfailingly provided the fashion-conscious woman with exactly what she wants for the past decade with its unique collections of jewellery and scarves. Luxurious and fashionable yet trendy and accessible at the same time.

Every year, Titto launches two extensive and versatile seasonal collections in high quality, natural materials and, in doing so, responds to the latest fashion trends. It offers boutiques in Belgium, the Netherlands and France the opportunity to perfectly align their range of accessories with their clothing collections and to offer their customers a wide range of styles, colours and price classes. Moreover, each creation is unique and an absolute added value. Boutiques enjoy flexible ordering options and short delivery times from the Roeselare fashion company De Spiegelaere, the brand’s owner and distributor. Retailers can also refine and further align their range during the season to reflect slight shifts in trends, popular items or their customers’ preferences. Creative designs, quality materials and meticulous customer service: that is Titto’s formula for success.

MARIANNE She is passionate about fashion and has an eye for fine materials. It is Marianne Priem, designer at De Spiegelaere and the face of Titto. It was the purchase of a classic pearl necklace during her stay in the Far East a little over ten years ago that led to the creation of the accessories label. “I was living in China with my husband, who was there for his job. I bought my very first fine pearl from a pearl producer. I adore authentic quality materials and have always had a connection with fashion. That purchase was the trigger for me to fully dedicate myself to the Titto adventure. We are still in contact with those people and have worked with them closely for many years. We call each other ‘sister’ and email each other every day (she laughs).” Marianne knows her way around China, speaks the language very well and still regularly visits her suppliers there. “Everything starts with selecting the raw materials,” she explains enthusiastically. “I set off for China twice a year looking for a suitable mix of natural materials inspired by the very latest fashion trends, which I pick out of fashion magazines, fabric fairs or from observing people in the street. These may be freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones such as agate and jade. We also like to select silk scarves and often add finishing touches of real fur and leather. Production is also carried out there, fully customised to our designs.” Titto represents accessible elegance. It is a stylish line of accessories that exudes luxury and refinement, while still being affordable. “I design for the trendy grandmother that is attending her grandchild’s wedding, as well as for the bride herself. When designing and compiling the collection, we also take different ages and styles into account. That’s why the collections are so extensive: they range from classic to trendy, incorporating the occasional exclusive showstopper. A woman must be able to visit her favourite boutique and be elegantly decked out - in her entire outfit, complete with matching accessories - and return home with everything she was looking for.” Necklaces, earrings, bracelets and scarves too: each item is unique and tells its own story. “If you choose Titto, you are buying an accessory that you will not find anywhere else. Moreover, each piece of jewellery and each scarf embody the story of my long quest, the design process and the distant journey from the Far East back here to Belgium. They have passed through the hands of passionate craftspeople to ultimately be worn with pride. I also derive considerable pleasure when I see someone wearing a Titto creation on TV, in the street or at a party. Even now, a decade later.”

NECKLACES Tittoâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s winter collection boasts pure statement necklaces. Some are short, most are remarkably long. Mix and match! What else catches the eye?
