Just down the road from Crested Butte, nestled in a pine-covered canyon, is Taylor River Lodge. This private cluster of cabins is primed for adventure. Cast for rainbow and brown trout on our Gold Medal waters, hike through world-famous wildflower meadows, whitewater raft through the canyon, or hit miles of secret single track running through the aspen forest. We’ll bring out the kid in you with camp-inspired fun like a marksman range, axe tossing, and plenty of space to chill out along the roaring Taylor River.

This former general store turned private retreat sits on eight acres along the tumbling Taylor River. While the design choices keep the property’s rustic former identity alive, the conveniences are all modern, from steam showers to a dreamworthy bathhouse and spa. Step out the back door and it’s all about fun, with a stocked casting pond, marksman range, and climbing wall.
