SCARP RIDGE LODGE PROPERTY OVERVIEW 1

OUR MISSION Our mission is to custom-make powerful experiences that impact the people who impact the world. Whether heli-skiing near the Arctic Circle in Iceland or casting for bonefish on a remote island in the Bahamas, Eleven® offers are a different kind of escape. We are not found in traditional destinations. Our lodges, chalets and beach houses are miles from the main road - in a historic farming village high along the FrenchItalian border, on a rugged river in Patagonia, and in other unique locations away from the crowd. In each destination, local chefs and comfortable lodging are combined with guided fishing from rivers to reefs, and a variety of outdoor activities from the mountains to the sea. Guests of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join in the adventures, and to improve their skills with instruction from our expert guides. Meanwhile, local cultures present the opportunity to participate in a different way of life, to see and enjoy places known only to native insiders. No matter where in the world they may be, every facility has cozy accommodations, talented chefs, extensive wine selections, and friendly, skilled guides who will show you new dimensions of life, friendship, family and adventure.

Eleven is headquartered in Crested Butte, Colorado. Eleven represents a new standard in experiential travel. We quench a thirst for unprecedented adventures, authentic connections with down-to-earth guides and deeply personalized holidays for the Adventure Capitalist.

OFF THE BEATEN PATH

CUSTOM TAILORED EXPERIENCES

ELEVEN GUIDE TEAM

At the root of Eleven’s identity is the belief that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice the comforts of home in order to experience some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes and incredible adventures. Our team has scoured the globe for destinations relatively unknown and which still have a strong connection to their community and landscape. Although our properties are far from the main road, they are custom designed to ensure you have access to all of the amenities you should steam showers, saunas, pools, unique hang spaces, comfortable guest rooms and more.

We believe that your trip should be about you. That means that no trip is ever the same. Even before you arrive, our Experience Managers will help plan your dream itinerary, design menus, organize travel logistics, take note of your preferences and plan special moments. We want you to experience the most out of your trip. As a result, most of our stays are largely all-inclusive — meaning that your professional guides, outdoor activities, most meals, house alcohol and local transportation are included. Specific offerings vary at each property - please see destination pages for details.

At the core of the experience is the Eleven Guide Team. This international group of highly-trained outdoor and adventure specialists makes the entire experience. Their mission is to assess your goals and comfort levels and then customize the adventure to provide that “best-day-ever” experience. Our guides’ enthusiasm for their local surroundings and the adventures they share with you is infectious. It’s what sets Eleven apart from any other company in the industry. If getting after it and being slightly out of your comfort zone sounds exciting, this cast of characters will safely lead you through a life-changing experience.

BEST DAY EVER POLICY

ADVENTURES FOR ALL

A REAL CONNECTION

This is important. Unlike other resorts and guide operations, we don’t acknowledge “down days” or “weather days.” There are no rain checks. We are always armed and amped to improvise and be creative. If we can’t ski, we’ll surf. If we can’t fish, we’ll go paddle boarding with a gourmet riverside lunch. You came to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and this is what you’ll get.

There is not a “right” or a “wrong” way to experience an Eleven destination. If you’re a die-hard charger who wants to jam-pack your day with adrenaline-fueled activities, we’ve got you covered. If you’re simply looking for somewhere off the map to turn off your phone and put your feet up, that’s what we’re here for. Looking for a family getaway to reconnect with multiple generations and long lost cousins? You’re in the right place. Regardless of age, adventure enthusiasm, outdoor experience or vacation goals, we will design a trip that exceeds your expectations.

At the end of the day, Eleven strives to create memories that you, your family and your friends can share for a lifetime. We believe the connections and relationships that our guests foster amongst themselves and with nature are the most valuable commodities in the world, and we’re here to create these life-affirming moments with you.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

SCARP RIDGE LODGE Located in downtown Crested Butte, our lodge was formerly the Croatian Hall, where miners would gather for drinking and dancing during the coal mining heyday. It purposefully lives like a home. Think open floor plan, stocked kitchen and pantry, and flat screen TV slideshows from your day’s adventure. Guest-controlled Crestron entertainment systems are set to music preferences, while coffee and a preheated sauna each morning are prep for tackling the trails.

ROOM DETAILS RED LADY

BECKWITH

Red Lady is the property’s master suite, complete with a lofted office, television, and an ensuite bathroom with a steam shower and bath tub. West-facing windows look out to the iconic Mt. Emmons, fondly known as Red Lady. Vaulted ceilings make this room feel extra spacious. A wrought-iron ladder leads up to a loft area and the en suite bathroom is adjacent to the king bed.

Beckwith is south facing and gets plenty of natural light. A king bed allows for views of Gibson’s Ridge and Colorado’s bluebird sky. There’s ample space, with two chairs beneath the windows and warm tones throughout the room.

BUTTE Butte, our junior master king suite, is tucked on the southeastern side of the Lodge and shares a south-facing roof deck with our Whetstone room. Stellar views replace a TV. Soak in the late afternoon sun on the deck or gaze out at Mt. Crested Butte’s rocky peak from your bed. Dog-

friendly room. WHETSTONE Decorated in blue tweeds and Moroccan rugs, Whetstone is our most private king room at Scarp Ridge Lodge and a favorite of young families. A sitting room with a TV has the type of sofa that inspires an impromptu nap, and also doubles as a pull out bed. This room has an ensuite bathroom with a steam shower and bath tub. The bedroom and bath are around the corner from the sitting room. Dog-friendly room.

MARCELLINA Marcellina is bright in both décor and natural light, with large, west-facing windows and a king bed. An adjoining private sitting area has a pull out couch, bookshelves, a TV, and closet. Guests can enjoy views of Red Lady from the steam shower or bathtub.

BUNK ROOM The bunkroom is a kid’s fantasy come true. Staff will label each bed with a special chalkboard label so that the kids can stake their claim. Built to resemble the game Chutes and Ladders, the bunkroom has two and three-story bunk beds and a loft. The bunkroom includes an adjoining bathroom with a smaller tub for kids, lofted game area and twin au pair room.

Wildflower Capital During the summer season Crested Butte is known as the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado” and for good reason. Wildflowers carpet the hillsides and valleys between June and August – a sight not be missed.

WINTER ADVENTURE GUIDE WINTER SEASON ACTIVITIES Crested Butte is a true winter wonderland, and Eleven’s highly trained guide team provides endless adventures just outside our doorstep. One guided adventure is included in each day of your stay at Scarp Ridge Lodge. Read on to learn more about our favorites. SNOW CAT SKIING

Located just 10 miles west of Crested Butte, Irwin is a meteorological anomaly, meaning it snows A LOT here. Irwin often sees three times the amount of snow as the town of Crested Butte. The town of Irwin sits in the middle of the mountains—only accessible by snow cat or snowmobile in the winter. Whether tackling a narrow couloir or a gladed intermediate run, our snow cats access 1,000 acres of skiable terrain. Most runs begin on Scarp Ridge, where views of the Elk Mountains glimpse 13-14,000 foot peaks. Eleven has an active avalanche forecasting and mitigation program, which uses explosives for controlling activity. This keeps us skiing steep terrain confidently. We typically snag 8-10 runs per day, breaking for lunch. Expect après cocktails and snacks at our on-mountain chalet at the end of the day.

Activity Duration: 4-6 hours. Travel Time: 1 hour. Experience Level: Intermediate-Expert, This Activity is Included in Your Stay. BACKCOUNTRY SKIING

The trophy of Crested Butte’s natural playground is the backcountry skiing. From open bowls to steep and secluded tree runs and big alpine peaks, our guides will show you the goods. New to backcountry skiing? Tackle mellow terrain on Snodgrass mountain with shorter approaches, gradual ascents, low angle runs, and open glades. If you’re jones-ing to take it to the next level, consider a snowmobile or snow cat “bump” to the Red Lady or Scarp Ridge trailheads, and then ski with a guide back to town. It’s our guides’ job to know the local mountains intimately, and just as important to know how to put you on the right slope. Our guides are all avalanche experts and safety is paramount. You’ll be supplied with avalanche rescue gear, including a backpack, beacon, shovel, and probe.

Activity Duration: 3-6 hours. Travel Time: 5 minutes. Experience Level: Intermediate-Expert, This Activity is Included in Your Stay. RESORT SKIING

Sometimes lift-service skiing is the perfect change of pace, and lucky for Eleven, Crested Butte Mountain Resort is right at its doorstep. CBMR has 15 lifts and 121 trails on 1,547 skiable acres. On average, terrain is 26% beginner, 57% intermediate and 17% advanced/expert. Ride or ski mellow groomers (the longest run—Peak to Treasury—is 2.6 miles, or 4.2 km long), bumps, or venture into the extreme terrain. CBMR is the perfect training ground for little rippers in the making, and the resort’s professional adult and kids’ ski school is one of the best in the country. Guests will often prep their ski legs at the resort before cat skiing or hitting the backcountry with our guides.

Activity Duration: 2-4 hours. Travel Time: 15 minutes. Experience Level: All Abilities, This Activity is Included in Your Stay. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Explore the heart of the Elk Mountains on an exciting cross-country ski tour. Expect incredible views and exercise as you travel light and fast with just a daypack and Nordic skis.

Activity Duration: 1-3 hours. Travel Time: 5 minutes. Experience Level: All Abilities, This Activity is Included in Your Stay.

14

SNOWSHOEING

Ideal for individuals, groups, families, or friends, our snowshoe tours marry fitness and fun in the Colorado backcountry. Slow down, enjoy your serene surroundings, and hike through snow-blanketed meadows, aspen glades, and dark timbered forests. The Crested Butte area features five different drainages, which means endless options for exploration. Tours can also be done near Irwin, so guests can meet up with family and friends during their day of cat skiing.

Activity Duration: 1-3 hours. Travel Time: 5 minutes. Experience Level: All Abilities. This Activity is Included in Your Stay. ICE CLIMBING

Ouray and Lake City have developed their own ice parks as a global destination for ice enthusiasts. The user-friendly parks feature ice routes for all abilities and levels. Whether learning ice-climbing basics, or taking it a step further with a multi-day, intensive teaching progression to improve skills and climbing efficiency, Eleven will curate a fun, safe experience with professional guides. For more adventurous climbers that want a wilderness experience, the North San Juan Mountains surrounding Lake City offer moderate and long multi-pitch ice climbs, including the local gem “Sherman Falls”—a 4-pitch WI5 route.

Activity Duration: 2-4 hours. Travel Time: 2 hours and 30 minutes Experience Level: All Abilities. This Activity is Included in Your Stay.

CAT SKIING WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Scarp Ridge Lodge and Sopris House offer guests one of the most exclusive ski experiences in the world. Accessible by tricked-out snowcats, our guests have access to 1000+ acres of ski terrain in Irwin, Colorado. Coupled with private use of our on-mountain chalets, guests have the opportunity to ski untouched cold-smoke powder and enjoy the company of their families and friends day in and day out. WHAT IS A SNOWCAT? WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT ELEVEN’S SNOWCATS? A snowcat is an enclosed vehicle used to drive up and down the mountain so that you can access untouched terrain for the best possible skiing conditions. Our snowcats are custom built with your comfort in mind – think leather seats, flat screen tvs, heat, sound systems and large windows.

WHERE IS IRWIN COLORADO? HOW DO WE GET THERE? Irwin is located 12 miles west of Crested Butte. The snowcat will pick you up at the front door of Scarp Ridge Lodge or Sopris House. You’ll enjoy a 45-minute ride through the wilderness to Irwin.

DO WE HAVE A HOME BASE AT IRWIN? WHERE DO WE HAVE LUNCH? We have two cozy on-mountain chalets at Irwin where your group will put on your ski boots, have lunch and enjoy après. You’re also welcome to hang out at the cabins throughout the day if you want to take a break or lounge by the fire.

HOW MUCH SNOW DOES IRWIN GET EACH YEAR? Irwin is famous for its cold-smoke powder – and lots of it. The area receives an average of 450 inches of snow each year.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE TERRAIN AT IRWIN? Irwin offers a variety of terrain. Think open alpine bowls, steep narrow chutes, wide untouched hillsides, and tight tree skiing terrain. While we find our terrain is best suited for intermediate to expert skiers, our guides are well versed in working with children and skiers of varying abilities.
