RESPONDING TO THE NEED FOR EDUCATION & PREVENTION
Mind Your Mind
The past year was a challenging one for many individuals and families in our community, further escalating the need for behavioral health services. DLC experienced this firsthand, with an overwhelming demand for crisis services in particular. In response, DLC focused its communication efforts on education and prevention, as well as on garnering support for its mission to help meet the growing community needs.

One of these efforts was a year-long initiative called Mind Your Mind that launched in January 2022. This campaign encourages the community to prioritize mental health and connects individuals with mental health awareness, education, and resources.
Through the Mind Your Mind initiative, DLC works with community partners and leaders to focus on important and relevant topics around mental health and addiction. Each month, Mind Your Mind highlights a different behavioral health topic and provides resources, positive content, tips and exercises for enhanced mindfulness and wellbeing; and features opportunities to support community mental health whether at home, school, or workplace.
Dedicated website content at DLCMindYourMind.org offers free access to relevant articles, videos, and other resources to enhance and advance community wellbeing.
