Elena Beatrice

My name is Elena Beatrice and I think that stories can change the world: my mission is to find the best way to tell them. I am a filmmaker and illustrator based in Turin (Italy), I do yoga every morning and I think too much. With my job, I aim to make people reflect, explain ideas and concepts to everybody. I often choose little known and complex topics because I want to do my part to build a world without taboo subjects and where everybody could be free to be really themselves. Among my filmmaking projects there are “The Scientist of Sound”, a short film about Mulatu Astatke, the godfather of ethio-jazz and “Watch the Tempo”, a short film about the Philharmonic of the Teatro Regio Torino. “Get Big” is my first feature film, a documentary about Ultimate Frisbee.
