An organization composed of representatives of each sorority chapter who act as the central governing body of all NPC sororities on a campus

Philanthropy
To promote a charity specifically through a generous donation of money
Potential New Member (PNM)
An unaffiliated woman who attends Fall Recruitment or participates in Continuous Open Bidding.
Quota
The number of new members that each Panhellenic sorority may select during Fall Recruitment.
Recruitment Counselor (Gamma Chi)

A Panhellenic representative who assists PNMs during the recruitment This woman provides objective advice and support to PNM's
Ritual
The traditional rites and ceremonies of a fraternity or sorority; these are almost always a private and known only to initiated members of a fraternal organization.


Sorority (Women's Fraternity)
A values-based, social experience based on the fundamental right of a free people to form voluntary associations
Total
The allowable chapter size as determined by the Panhellenic Council that includes both new members and members Chapter total is the total number of members that a chapter may recruit to during Continuous Open Bidding. If a chapter has less than total, they may participate in COB. The Panhellenic Council evaluates this number each year. It usually reflects average chapter size
Values-Based Recruitment
Recruitment that focuses on conversations between chapter members and potential new members about organizational values and member organizations.
