Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The governing body for 14 fraternities on our campus
Legacy
A woman whose mother, sister or, in some cases, grandmother or half-sister is an alum or current undergraduate member of a sorority. A sorority is not obligated to offer a bid a legacy, and a potential new member is completely free to choose the sonority of her individual preference

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
The governing body for one fraternity and one sorority on our campus
MRABA
The binding agreement signed by a potential new member (PNM) followin preference event she attends during fully structured or partially structured PNM agrees to accept a bid from any chapter she lists on her MRABA. If s to a chapter she lists and declines it, she is ineligible to join another organ campus until the beginning of the next primary membership recruitment p not receive a bid to membership, she is eligible for continuous open biddin also is used for continuous open bidding and new chapter establishment bids
North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC)
The governing body for 66 inter/national fraternal organizations.
National Panhellenic Conference (NPC)
NPC provides support and guidance for its 26 member inter/national women's fraternities (sororities) and serves as the international voice on contemporary issues of sorority life. NPC exists to promote the values of and to serve as an advocate for its member groups i collaboration with those members, campuses and communities.
National Pan-Hellenic Council
The governing body for the historically black fraternity and sororities often referred to as the "Divine 9."
New Member
A potential new member (PNM) who has accepted the bid of a sorority and has taken the first step toward full membership but has not yet been initiated
