Challenged by Growth: Toronto’s and Mobility

Put Your Best Face Forward: Global Image-Making

While some of the attention may be organic, a lot of work goes into maintaining a presence in the global marketplace. We’ll talk with representatives of Tourism Toronto, the upcoming Pan Am Games, and others involved in marketing the region.

Development Toronto’s Waterfront and Downtown Development

Toronto’s waterfront development, like Philadelphia’s, is much in the news these days. They, too, have a major highway separating downtown from the water, a patchwork of property ownership, brownfields, and politics -- as well as some admirable achievements. We'll hear from those active in design, planning, real estate, and place-making.

In addition to international events such as the Film Festival, many of Toronto’s arts organizations focus on knitting diverse artists and audiences together to strengthen the community fabric. We’ll explore the importance of this effort with its most innovative leaders.
