Oliver Stone Times December 6, 2013! The pending Japanese state secrecy law is a monstrosity, the beginning of the end of the ‘Peace Constitution’ that the Japanese put in place after WW2.

Oliver Stone Times December 16, 2013! For those of you interested, I’d highly recommend the audio book of “Untold History” from Brilliance Audio. http://amzn.to/1cqAA1G! ! Also coming up next spring will be “The Concise Untold History of the United States” from Simon & Schuster, a shorter version of our 700-page book. Later in the year will be The Untold History of the United States: Young Readers Edition (Volume 1 & 2) from Simon & Schuster. Actually, these versions are very readable, as I’ve recently read the Howard Zinn version and learned quite a bit. It’s simple reading for when you’re squeezed for speed. ! ! Also coming up, further away, perhaps another 6 months, would be the graphic novel of “Untold History of the United States,” also from Simon & Schuster.

Oliver Stone Times An interesting addendum to the Mandela story: Mandela, in an inspiring 2003 speech, blasted the Bush administration for Iraq— very close in nature to what Kuznick and I were repeating in “Untold History.” This is only untold and unlearned by the American people, but much of the world knows this. Among his thoughts: ! ! “…if there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America… They don’t care for human beings.! ! 57 years ago, when Japan was retreating on all fronts, they decided to drop the atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Killed a lot of innocent people, who are still suffering from the effects of those bombs [sic].! ! Those bombs were not aimed against the Japanese. They were aimed against the Soviet Union. To say, look, this is the power that we have. If you dare oppose what we do, this is what is going to happen to you.! ! Because they are so arrogant they decided to kill innocent people in Japan who are still suffering from that. Who are they now to pretend that they are policemen of the world?” ! —Nelson Mandela http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQyN4X0sFdA&t=1m22s
