Google Forms as Learning Aids at EIT
Introduction Historical distance online learning was typically conceived to offer a “one size fits all” learning environment. Adaptive and flexible educational tools have been studied and proposed to meet the needs of students individual learning strengths, but may be difficult to integrate to existing platforms. This work presents goggle forms as a third party service as a regular resource in a variety of learning experiences in the School of Nursing. Methods Google forms were created as learning aids for a variety of learning situation to enhance learning. Forms were designed to capture the student’s satisfaction immediately following each learning experience. Results Feedback has been positive from students and most students feel the intervention has had a positive effect on their learning.
Conclusions Google forms are a free, easy to use resource that improves the student experience of learning.
