#EndSARS Memorial

In October 2020, thousands of young Nigerians took to the streets in over twenty cities to protest against police brutality, making 5 specific demands which were accepted by the federal government. 1 year later, some of the demands remain unmet.

To commemorate the first anniversary of the #EndSARS movement, EiE hosted a radio programme in 5 states and the F.C.Ttoreviewthe#5for5demandsandpolicebrutalityayearaftertheprotest.

EiE also joined thousands who made it to the Drive-Through Memorial at Lekki Toll Gate, the location of the gruesome #LekkiMassacre. Active citizens also organised protests in Rivers, Delta, Edo, Enugu, Oyo, Kwara, Osun states and the F.C.T

...collectively propelling the cause for a better Nigeria.
