Hello Neighbor!

HI, MY NAME IS... Carolyn Berry and I am the owner of Clean Colonic (cleancolonic.com).

I’VE LIVED IN NORTH PHOENIX FOR FOUR YEARS AND LOVE IT BECAUSE…

The area has what I need and is centrally located between my four business locations.

A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE

INCLUDES… Building my business, mentoring my employees, encouraging my clients to be healthy, playing with my pups, and getting some fitness in with sand volleyball.

MY FAMILY IS… Mostly in California and I miss being there and seeing them, but they are only a nine-hour drive away. My dogs love it when we go there because they love to play in the ocean.

ONE THING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT

IS… Dark chocolate with caramel.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY…

“Ever After,” which is a Cinderella movie. I like the humor in this movie, especially when the stepmother is irritated with her staff and tells them to “go catch a chicken.”

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO

BE… A chiropractor. From a young age I knew I wanted to help heal people.

THE SONG I WOULD SING AT

KARAOKE NIGHT IS… Any Allen Jackson song. He is by far my favorite country singer. I’ve seen him in concert six times and will be seeing him in Phoenix in September.

THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES

ME IS… Myself. I have the most competitive spirit of anyone I know— and it’s not with other people, it’s with myself. I feel like if I set goals and strive to achieve them, it keeps me moving and will keep me young and vibrant.

THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME

LAUGH OUT LOUD WAS… When I went to sit in my office chair and I fell off it. I wish there was a client to see and witness it, but I was all alone and had to sit on the floor laughing at myself.

THE PERFECT DAY… Everyday is a perfect day for me because I’m living the dream of helping people achieve their health goals and I get to take care of two wonderful pups when I get home. They help me stay grounded and focused by enjoying nature and getting outside.

MY FAVORITE LOCAL NONPROFIT IS…

Harvest Compassion Center. They do a lot for the community and help a lot of people in need.

MY LIFE IS… Not simple. It’s hard and busy and very full—which I love. I know my purpose is to help people with their health and encourage them to go from chaos to happy. People just need to be loved and encouraged sometimes and I know I’m built for this.

MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE…

To sit in a hut in Bora Bora. I have yet to do that. I’ve traveled to many places, including Israel, South Africa, Honduras, Bali, Mexico, Paris, London, Monaco, and Dubai. I want nothing more than to relax on an exotic island.
