Awesome for kids of all ages!

I have a couple things to write about here this week. The first one is with my kidney failure I seem to continue to lose weight. I am almost down to the weight that I should be but illness is not a good system for weight loss. My body seems to be rejecting fluids so I pee a lot. I am a rare case who has to add saline to my blood to keep it flowing. Another thing going on is more related to the bone marrow cancer. I get these crazy bone pains on occasion. This week I had one in my elbow and it was so painful that I could not bend it at all. It is weird how it builds over a few days, reaches a peak and them subsides in a day or two. And it is always in different places on the body. I am not sure what actually causes it but I sure know when it is happening. And I am grateful when it clears up. It is painfully crazy how it happens. Overall I have been feeling pretty good since home hemodialysis has been happening.

Men’s Nights

LOCKWORKS

Both Windermere Valley Golf Course and Coy’s Par 3 are fully open for the season. They are both very nice courses with awesome food, staff and facilities. Windermere hosts Men’s Night on Thursdays, beginning at 1:30 pm. Coy’s Men’s Night is Wednesdays at 5 pm. Both men’s nights are lots of fun and a great way to meet some golfers out there. Both offer fantastic food specials on those nights as well.

Funny Book About Depression You’re invited to join a book club that’s open to anyone who’s read that month’s book: for the Friday, April 26 club meeting, the book is Furiously Happy, by Jenny Lawson. The Invermere Library’s book club will meet at 2 pm to talk about this hilarious book about the author’s experience with depression and anxiety. Yep, a funny book about depression. Read the book and come to the book club to share your thoughts on that. There’s no cost to attend and the library provides refreshments.
