4.1 Main Substances Ammonium nitrate based main solid products considered here are listed below with their UN numbers, shipping names, class and special provision numbers. The official text is shown in italics. UN 0222: Ammonium Nitrate – Class 1.1D Ammonium nitrate with more than 0.2% combustible substances, including any organic substance calculated as carbon, to the exclusion of any other substance. UN 1942: Ammonium Nitrate – Class 5.1 Ammonium nitrate with not more than 0.2% total combustible material, including any organic substance calculated as carbon, to the exclusion of any other added substance.
