Biology Major The Biology Program seeks to prepare students for careers in the Biological Sciences. The curriculum in Biology is designed in general, to prepare students for employment, graduate studies and for productive lives which require an understanding of the scientific method of investigation. The Department offers a rigorous program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Biology. Admission Requirements to get into the Biology Program Biology Major Admissions Requirements In order to be admitted into our program, a student must meet the following criteria: 1. The student must complete and submit the “Formal” application for admission into the program. The application must contain the student’s full name, classification, GPA, address, and phone number. 2. The student must have a GPA of at least 2.0. 3. The student must complete a minimum of 30 credits in General Education Courses to include: o ENG 101, Introduction to Academic Writing o ENG 102, Academic Writing and Research o ENG 200, Fundamentals of Speech o MAT 104, College Algebra
