MIAMI UNIVERSITY GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio. With a student body of 16,000, Miami effectively combines a wide range of strong academic programs with the personal attention ordinarily found only at much smaller institutions. Financial assistance is available in several forms and is generally awarded to graduate students by individual programs on the basis of academic promise. All graduate assistants receive remission of 93% of the comprehensive fee and the full out-of-state tuition surcharge (if applicable) for the length of their appointment. All graduate students pay the Miami Metro fee, Technology fee, and Facilities fee. Many opportunities are available for graduate assistant appointments for part-time teaching and research.
