EF campuses and offices are vital parts of our commitment, as well as collaborating with suppliers aligned with our goals. Supporting humanitarian relief

We’ve partnered with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) with the goal of providing support in both fortifying long-term medical relief efforts and amplifying the impact of emergency first-response during crises. Through our collaboration we aim to direct aid where it is needed most, supporting medical education and delivering rapid relief in critical areas around the globe. Our partnership contributes to funding training for frontline healthcare workers through the MSF Academy for Healthcare, as well as enabling immediate medical response through the MSF Emergency Fund.

Refine your listening and reading comprehension –while building effective testing strategies. You’ll expand your knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation for success in one of the Cambridge Exams with 32 weekly lessons (total tuition time of 21 hours and 20 mins). The exams test reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English – and are often administered at our campuses.

The qualification: Cambridge English provides qualifications for English language learners as part of the University of Cambridge English language assessment. They can be used as proof of language proficiency for university admissions, immigration offices or employers in most Englishspeaking countries.

This program combines language learning with step by step guidance for local job placement.

When you choose a 6-week or more language course, the EF Job Club program will be conveniently built into your learning curriculum. This involves 32 lessons (Intensive) or 26 lessons (General) of language learning combined with professional focus sessions that help you refine the skills you need to build a promising career abroad, or boost your prospects back home.

You'll also receive two job counseling sessions where EF staff will run practice interviews, and assist you in writing and reworking your CV to optimize it for local job market requirements.

We'll support you through the entire process of settling in and identifying work prospects in your new country. Whatever your aspirations are, our priority is to help you build confidence, discover your potential, and find career-launching opportunities abroad.

EF Internship Experience

Improve your new language skills in an international work environment.

Description

This program combines an internship of 50 hours or more with a minimum 4-week EF Intensive Course. During classroom time you’ll improve your language skills as well as learn CV writing and interviewing techniques.

After class, you’ll perfect your new language ability by working in a part-time, unpaid position at a professional company. You’ll develop industry-specific language skills and gain valuable international work experience. At the conclusion of the program, you’ll receive the EF Internship Certificate.

Available in Auckland, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Dublin, London, Manchester, Malta St. Julian's, Paris, Cape Town, and Berlin.

Prefer a longer internship?

Try our Internship Plus Program, available in all destinations with the exception of the UK*. Choose a 3+3 program (3 months of language studies and a 3-month internship) or a 6+3 program (6 months of language studies and then a 3-month internship). Ask us for more details.

EF Volunteer Experience

Refine your language skills while volunteering with an organization.

Description

This program combines volunteer experience of 50 hours or more with a minimum 8-week EF Language Course. In addition to making progress toward fluency in your language course with interactive lessons inside and outside of the classroom, you’ll enrich your understanding of the language by volunteering part-time at a local organization.

You’ll develop specialized language skills and gain experience in an international environment – all documented with an EF Certificate of Volunteer Experience.

Traveling

to your EF campus

EF will organize both flights and transfers. Simply contact your nearest EF office for an offer.

Payment schedule

- Enrollment fee ($195) and Cancellation Protection are due at the time of booking

- 14 days after booking, the deposit of 20% of the course fee is due

- 45 days after booking, another 20% of the course fee is due

- The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the course start date

Travel insurance

As safety and security are our top priority, all students traveling with EF International Language Campuses are required to have travel insurance. Through our partner Erika Insurance Ltd., EF offers comprehensive travel insurance that is tailor-made and covers illnesses, accidents, repatriation, interruption, theft, delay and liability. Cancellation Protection

EF Cancellation Protection is available upon enrollment and charged as a one-time, non-refundable fee of $95. This covers cancellations before departure due to illness.
