BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Nurturing Future Black Entrepreneurs Celebrating Black History Month with Ultra Education This Black History Month, Ultra Education reaffirms its commitment to empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those of African and Caribbean heritage. We focus on entrepreneurship and financial literacy, giving young people the tools they need to shape their futures confidently. Through initiatives like the ‘It Takes a Village’ programme, we engaged 38 schools and supported over 300 students across Brent, particularly Black boys of Caribbean heritage. Over 18 months, we delivered entrepreneurship workshops,
mentorship, family advocacy and business showcases, helping to raise attainment and aspirations. The African proverb: ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, is central to our philosophy. We believe that nurturing young people’s success requires the collective effort of families, mentors and the wider community. This approach has been key in driving change and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. As part of our ongoing mission to uplift young people aged 7 to 30, we invite you to join us at the 11th Youth Business Fair, taking place at Wembley Stadium on 24th
