How Can I cancel My Special Power of Attorney

If you are the principal, you must first draught a deed or a notification of POA cancellation. The rationale, the event, and the results of the POA's revocation must be specified in the deed.

Following that, the record or notification of POA revocation will be printed in local or national media. The cancellation document must be filed with the same organization that established the POA.

A copy of the court order or other notice must be delivered to the agent informing them of the revocation.

The POA agent's contacts can be informed to stop doing business with you by sending copies of the revoked revocation deed to them.
