the buy-­‐in. Once the foundation is established, you can build upon the base in any way that is best for your particular school environment. Finally, one of the best reasons to gamify professional learning is not necessarily just to increase teacher interest and participation in PD. In teaching the teachers while using game mechanics and other aspects of game-­‐based learning, they can see for themselves why it works and how to do it, and then are more likely to incorporate gamification in their own classrooms.
