Edmonton Eagles boxers appearing as part of the Lord Mayor’s Show On Saturday 11th November 2017 The Edmonton Eagles Amateur Boxing Club had the privilege to be part of the Lord Mayor’s Show. The show is one of the best known events in London with an 800 year old history. This year it attracted crowds of more than half a million people, lining the pavements on the three mile long procession through the City of London, as well as millions more watching the live broadcast on BBC 1. rain it was a wonderful day and made even more special when one of the club’s boxers, Adam Layfield, was interviewed live by the BBC as they had heard his story and were keen to cover the positive change that had happened in Adam’s life since starting to attend the club 6 years ago.
