Turf Life Presents its Servin’ Turf Award to Linda Pittillo Bradley

Turf Life, the brand that salutes the consumer and industry “players” everywhere whose lives involve turf, presented their Servin’ Turf Award to Linda Pittillo Bradley. The Servin’ Turf Award (a word play on Surf & Turf) honors and celebrates a Turf Industry Professional, Facility or Organization that has gone above and beyond to create and/or maintain an outstanding and sustainable turf environment.

Linda Pittillo Bradley is firmly grounded in her faith, devoted to her family, and passionate about natural turfgrass. She is co-owner, with her brother Wayne, of the turfgrass sod production business started by their parents, Fred and Merle Pittillo, Turf Mountain Sod in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Linda is a strong proponent of spreading the message of the multiple benefits of natural turfgrass. Her outreach starts with the family farm, where she welcomes student and other

tour groups to experience a personal interaction with natural grass as they learn about it. As the first woman president of Turfgrass Producers International (TPI), Linda’s outreach extends across the U.S. and internationally. She connects with members across the world and supports collaboration with other green industry associations to help people understand the vital role natural turfgrass plays within the environment—and in their lives. Linda’s warm and welcoming smile is a reflection of her compassionate, supportive spirit. She is truly making a positive impact.
