Neste verão, começa a sobrevoar o Atlântico o mais inovador avião da frota da SATA Azores Airlines, o A321LR (Long Range), variante do A321neo. Inovação tecnológica de última geração, mais autonomia e maior eficiência a nível energético, são características-chave desta aeronave. O Airbus A321LR transportará 190 passageiros e a sua autonomia, que poderá chegar a 8.200 km, vem reforçar as ligações nas rotas de médio e longo curso da SATA Azores Airlines.

A tecnologia de última geração desta aeronave permitiu, simultaneamente, a redução de ruído e a diminuição de consumo de combustível.

This Summer the A321LR (Long Range) airplane, a variant of A321neo and the most innovative in the SATA Azores Airlines fleet, will start flying over the Atlantic.

State-of-the-art technological innovation, greater range and energy efficiency are the key features of this aircraft.

The Airbus A321LR will carry 190 passengers, has a 8,200 km range and will reinforce the long- and medium-haul flights of SATA Azores Airlines.

The state-of-the-art technology on this aircraft enables a simultaneous reduction of the noise and fuel consumption. It allows a 50% reduction of the carbon footprint and saves up to 20% through a reduction of the consumed fuel per flight.

Para além destas, as melhorias introduzidas ao nível da cabine proporcionam até 20% de economia de combustível por voo.

O processo de rejuvenescimento de frota, que consistiu na substituição da frota Airbus A310 pelos mais recentes modelos da Airbus, representa um importante passo na prossecução dos objetivos de melhoria contínua do desempenho operacional da SATA Azores Airlines. O reforço que aporta mais esta unidade, vem permitir a oferta de um serviço mais eficiente e robusto e que pretende estar à altura das melhores expetativas.

A reinforcement that brings a great contribution to this unity and will allow for a more efficient and robust service up to par with the most demanding expectations.
