19 DE JULHO A 5 DE JANEIRO Para comemorar os 50 anos da missão da NASA que, com a Apollo 11, levou os primeiros seres humanos à Lua, o National Maritime Museum organizou aquela que é a maior exposição do Reino Unido dedicada ao satélite natural da Terra. Com objetos oriundos de vários museus nacionais e internacionais e ainda de coleções particulares, esta exposição apresenta uma relação que é, ao mesmo tempo, cultural e científica. Através desta mostra, será possível saber como é que foi a nossa relação com a Lua ao longo do tempo e através das civilizações. A peça mais antiga em exibição data de 172 A.C e é oriunda da Mesopotâmia. www.rmg.co.uk

JULY 19 TO JANUARY 5 To celebrate 50 years of the NASA mission which, with Apollo 11, took the first humans to the Moon, the National Maritime Museum has organized the one that is the biggest exhibition of the United Kingdom dedicated to the Earth’s natural satellite. Featuring objects from several national and international museums and also from private collections, this exhibition presents a relation which is simultaneously cultural and scientific. Through this exhibition it is possible to learn how our relation with the Moon over time and throughout civilizations has evolved. The most ancient piece in exhibition dates from 172 BC from Mesopotamia.
