Intro to Zentangle

Six Steps to Better Travel Photography

The Natural Way to Draw

Want to unwind from stress, focus your thoughts, and explore your creative side? Now is your chance to find out about this easy-to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured pa erns. Discover basic Zentangle pa erns as well as their meditative power to calm and focus the mind. No artistic experience needed. Also great warm up for experienced artists. All supplies included. This beginner-oriented class incorporates right brain drawing exercises, including contour, gesture and modeled drawing. We’ll ease you into the process of drawing in a fun, creative and effortless way. We will draw from figures, nature, still-life and photographs. Mediums include pencil, charcoal and sketching crayons. You will need to purchase materials before the first class; you can see the list online or when you register. Instructor Jeanne Aaron

Enhance your love of Zentangle and go beyond the basics! Learn more complex tangle pa erns, expanded shading, tangle enhancers and add black and tan paper tiles to your tangles. Prerequisite: Zentangle Intro class or experience with Zentangle highly recommended. Bring kit from Zantangle Intro class or purchase another. All other supplies included. Instructor Susan Kolze

It’s not necessary to have a complicated camera when you know the right techniques to capture a mood. Learn how to show emotion in your shots of people. Make a personal statement through a picture. Reveal the beauty of the grandest or simplest subjects. Become aware of the elements of composition to artfully record your travels. Paule e will offer Parts 1 and 2 of this program with a 15 minute break and time for questions. • Part 1 includes Photography Basics, Developing a Personal Strategy, and Creating Pleasing Composition. • Part 2 covers Revealing Ambiance in Destinations and Capturing Emotion when Photographing People. Paule e will also talk about Being a Traveler, Not a Tourist, and how that approach will be reflected in your photos.
