the CASE


Chiller Power Plant A multipurpose building (35.000 m2), comprising several tenants (hotel, health club, etc.) is equipped with a central chiller plant that produces chilled water which is sold to the tenants. Building management team was uncomfortable with plant operation and maintenance for two reasons: lack of confidence in the metering system used to charge energy to tenants and high energy costs. EdifĂ­cios SaudĂĄveis was called and, within 6 months, solved all the metering problems and achieved a 50% (!) reduction in energy costs just by implementing quick wins with an average payback of 3 months.
