Double celebration

Edge Davao, Zion Accuprint celebrate milestones Edge Davao is seven years old and its parent company Zion Accuprint is eight. The double celebration was commemorated last Friday (April 10) at the Edge Davao and Zion offices with the employees and officers of the fast-rising firms making the celebration more meaningful with an outreach program at the Balay Pasilungan in Bangkerohan. The outreach feeding program was staged in partnership with McDonald’s where 26 kids from Balay Pasilungan also experienced the food chain’s Kiddie Crew Workshop. The seventh anniversary activities actually began on April 1 with the April Fool’s Day costumeto-work contest with the theme “Insanely Different.”

Rover Kaye Hamoy of Production Department won the contest with Everly Filipinas of Administrative Department coming in at second place and Mary Jane Caro of Marketing Department finishing third. The winners received their cash prizes from Edge Davao and Zion Accuprint Publishing, Inc. general manager Olivia D. Velasco and finance head Lani Maratas. This year’s awardee, Zion Accuprint Publishing, Inc. prepress supervisor Jake Dupay also received a token from ODV and human resources officer Ella Tingzon. The traditional anniversary dinner capped the celebration. This year’s theme is “Soar at 7.”
