What started in 2008, when there was no electric bicycle market, until today when we manufacture 15,000 electric bicycles per year and can be found at 200 dealers in 4 countries. We mark this with a total relaunch of the entire Ecoride brand. Because as you may notice, a lot has changed visually, new logo, updated e-bikes with new graphics, new product series, yes almost everything except the name itself. What has not changed however, is our commitment to developing the foremost e-bikes for the Nordic market.

Ecoride + AVS = Moveability Now, perhaps the word �moveability� sounds like something an advertising agency has invented. For us, it feels perfectly right, because it combines two of the most important aspects for the electric bicycle transports of the future. The first thing is simply an electric bike, the second thing is what you can load on your electric bike, and here we have chosen to collaborate with Swedish Atran Velo, and use their AVS system that creates completely modular loading possibilities. One day you may want to buy food on the way home, then there is a basket made for just that. If you want to bring exercise equipment on the second day, then there is a box for it, there is even a special basket for your pet! A smaller pet, but still. Maybe that doesn’t sound so made up after all, that word? - Moveability.
The AVS system creates opportunities as you can now mount various types of transport accessories, such as bags and baskets, on our e-bikes with the use of a click system. With about 30 different accessories, the AVS system covers most needs, and to name a few, there are side bags, top bags, open baskets, closed baskets, crates, even a special basket for pets.

From Poland with love Just as before, all our development work takes place in Gothenburg, but we have now moved our entire production from Asia to Europe. Today all our e-bikes are built in Gdansk, Poland, where they are quality tested and carefully checked before sent on to the Nordic countries. Having our factory in Poland makes us both faster and better, since we easily can develop and test the bikes in a way we have not been able to do before. In addition we have the possibility to store more bikes in the new factory and thus offer shorter delivery time.
Design and construction What makes an Ecoride is simple. It has an electrical drive system, mud guards, lock and LED-lighting. It should be easy to handle, and it should be possible to load your things on it. So far, so good. But the most important thing is that the bike is safe. Safe to cycle on but also to handle when your out of the saddle. The engine and battery weigh quite a bit, so it is important that the bike is prepared for it so that it has a low and good balance point. That is why we spend a lot of time making sure that our frames measure up to the purpose for which they are intended. We also select components that are of high quality, in the right price range and that suit our Nordic climate.
Life + Cycle For us, we are not finished when you roll out your e-bike from the store. Our aim is that your Ecoride will continue to roll smoothly for many, many years. Therefore

The cycling computer comes with a special key for increased security. You cannot start the computer without the key. The control for walk assist is also integrated in the computer. The computer also prompts when it is time for service, then a symbol appears in the display.

Getting around safely and comfortably are the keywords for the Ambassador series. With a comfortable upright riding position and permanent loading possibilities,
these are e-bikes for you who like to take life as it comes and to sometimes be able to take the unexpected path.
Basically, you can choose between whether you prefer high or the low AXS entry. Most e-bikes are equipped with a basket and AVS platform for mounting transport accessories, and are

Tripper Series All models offer loading both front and rear and of course they come equipped with quality components.
Tripper comes with a straight frame, but also with a
unisex frame for a lower step and optimal flexibility. Most bicycles are equipped with an AVS platform at the front and a side bag holder or AVS platform at the rear for mounting transportation accessories. Basically, you can choose between our own hub-driven Ecoride Drive System or with a mid motor system from Shimano STEPS. The X designation stands for suspension fork, that creates extra comfort for a little more bumpy city and gravel road cycling. With these options, there is a Tripper for most people, everything from the slightly simpler Tripper H-9 to the more cocky Tripper X M-11.

Now, it might feel a little excessive to call it a series when
there is only one model. However, this is highly temporary, because this is where we invest the most resources to develop future models.
Loader AXS M5 is a three-wheeled electric cargo bike. A stable and well-equipped box bike that works perfectly to cycle children to kindergarten or take an outing to the beach. With room for 4 children, you will get most out of it. It has a strong center engine from Bafang, paired with Ecoride Drive System C3 display and an extra large battery of 19.2Ah with Panasonic cells.
