Captain William H. Hosea (MBA), who was killed by Communist ground gunners twenty miles east of DeNang, Vietnam, in March, while piloting C-47 Aircraft Commander plane named Dragon Ship, was posthumously awarded the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with three oak路leaf clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal and the Purple Heart in ceremonies at WPAFB on September 29. The medals were accepted by Captain Hosea's wife, Margaret, and twin sons, Doug and Dave.
Joseph A. Dellanoce is teaching sixth grade in Galloway Township, Pomona, N.J., and attending Glassboro State College for my masters in Education. "Other activities are going to flight school to acquire my private pilot licenses and belonging to a musical combo that plays in some of the popular clubs in South Jers ey." Lt. Peter J. Cassidy, Jr., has been assigned to the Southern California Outport at Long Beach . The Outport is part of W estern Area, Military Traffic Management and Terminal Service headquartered at Oakland Army Base. Just returned from a year in Vietnam, Pete has also served at Ft. Eustis, Va., where he completed the Transportation Officers Basic Course. Eric E. Hausfeld (MA) is teaching history and civics at Col. White High School in Dayton. Eric's wife is Mary Ann Miller Hausfeld '64. Gregory M. Salmini married Bernadette Ann Santini, August 5. Greg is an engineer with the J. P. Salmini Company, Inc., in Milford, Conn. Daniel J. Enrique Romaguera "went to further my studies in Russian to Leningrad for six weeks; then traveled for five weeks over Russia, Austria and France. Now that summer's over, back to the grind for the Ph.D. in French. I have maintained my appointment as half-time teaching associate in French." William J. Zeck is a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen & Company in Cincinnati. Bill was released from active duty with the U.S. Army after spending two years at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Ind. Jerome C. Donohue married Joan Elise Eisenbach '66, July 8. Dan is stationed in California until February when he'll leave for a one year tour of duty in Vietnam, as an intelligence officer, U.S. Navy. Donald R. Maul married Cynthia Mary Kowalski, September 23. Don is a claims representative with Royal Globe Insurance Company in East Orange, N.J. David J. Hibler successfully passed his fourteen-hour written do ctoral candidacy examination in English at the University of Notre Dame. He is now working on his doctoral thesis in Puritan literature, for which he holds a Dissertation Fellowship. His wife, Bonnie Shuman Hibler, is teaching fifth grade at Harrison grade sch ool. They both are living in residence and working with the Christian Service Center , an interdenominational service organizatino in the southeast side slum area.
