EB Says Goodbye

This year we said goodbye to two faculty members who have been a big part of our EB lives for many years. Sylvie Le Meur and Patrick Coulon left EB in November to return to France, and they are and will continue to be greatly missed. In her 23 years at EB, Sylvie taught preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade, and also worked as the French Curriculum Coordinator and the Lower School librarian.

After years of being EB’s travel agent, Patrick started as a teacher’s assistant in the Maternelle in 2009.

Both Sylvie and Patrick leave us with so many wonderful memories through the strong connections they’ve made within the EB community. They also leave us with wonderful souvenirs in the form of Jean and Marie, our feathered, plucky friends in the Lower School courtyard who continue to entertain, amuse and gift us with fresh eggs! Sylvie and Patrick, we thank you for your great work and the happy times we’ve shared with you. We wish you much luck and love and look forward to hearing new stories about your life in France.
