Richie Williams Living in the Hunter Valley, singer/guitarist Richie Williams plays a blend of rock/folk/blues/funk and soul, performing a mix of old skool and contempary covers and some original material from new EP due out in January. Richie performs as a solo artist, duo and band alongside Rik Rogers – bass, percussion, guitar, backing vocals and Dave Williams – saxophone, percussion. He has supported artists such as Gangagang, Christine Anu, Skunkhour,and DIG. Soon to head back into the studio at Alberts, Sydney to record an eight track EP of which most of the material has been written by Richie this year while he has been travelling around inland Australia. Richie will be performing a solo acoustic gig at the Rails on Wednesday at 6.30pm.
